New campus of College of the Desert in Indio will open for classes today
The College of the Desert satellite campus in Indio will open for classes today.
The $25 million construction project took more than a year and half to complete.
The campus on Oasis Street includes a 40,000 square-foot education center and 10,000 square feet of retail space.
Up to 3,000 students will be able to attend.
