Coroner: Omar Meza cause of death drowning
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has released the cause of death of Omar Meza, the Los Angeles businessman who was found dead in a Palm Desert golf course pond back in January.
According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Meza’s cause of death is listed as Drowning with “other significant conditions being acute ethanol intoxication.”
Meza went missing from the Desert Springs Marriott on January 8th and his body was later discovered in a golf course pond on January 15th.
We have requested a copy of the complete autopsy report from the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, and will bring you more when we receive the report. The Sheriff’s Department says the case is considered closed.
