Wanted arson suspect arrested in San Diego

The San Diego Police Department arrested a man on Tuesday who had been on the run for the past several months after failing to appear in court on arson and vandalism charges.

Authorities requested the public’s help just one day before they caught up to 53-year old Kurt Clifford Wendelborg.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 posted the information because police said Wendelborg was known to frequent the Palm Springs area, but he ended up being arrested in San Diego.

Wendelborg had two outstanding warrants in San Diego County, totaling $1,050,000, according to police.
