Car crashes into hospital parking lot
A driver is recovering from major injuries after crash in the parking lot of a local hospital.
It happened just before 6:00 Sunday morning at JFK Memorial on Monroe Street and Doctor Carreon Boulevard.
Indio police say the elderly driver was heading north on Monroe when he lost control of his car and crashed into a rock and a tree in the parking lot.
When firefighters arrived they found him trapped in the car.
Crews cut him from the wreckage and took him to a different local hospital for treatment.
