Indio Middle School receives grant to help buy books
Indio Middle School students will soon have new books and materials at their fingertips, after receiving a donation from a California Indian Tribe.
On Friday, the tribe along with State Senator Jeff Stone, presented the school with a check of $5,000 dollars.
Stone facilitated the grant request from the school. The money will be used for library books and materials, that the school is in need of.
