Indio fire leaves four homeless

Four people are out of their home following a fire in Indio, CalFire says.

The fire started around 8:30 Saturday night on Orange Grove Avenue. Fire crews said they saw light smoke coming from the home.

It took about an hour to put out the flames.

The American Red Cross is assisting the four adults that were living in the home.

The cause of the fire has not been identified.
