Esteemed doctor passes away in Rancho Mirage
A renowned Beverly Hills dermatologist, who was close friends with Michael Jackson and his children, passed away Thursday night in Palm Springs.
TMZ first reported the death of Dr. Arnold Klein.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said Dr. Klein died at about 7:20 p.m. at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. Klein was 70 years old.
According to law enforcement, he was admitted into the hospital four days ago. Sources reported Dr. Klein was suffering from abdominal pains and he died from natural causes.
Dr. Klein was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and he arrived to the hospital in a wheelchair, according to sources with TMZ.
Sources also report that Klein often spent holidays with Michael and his children and Michael went to Klein’s office routinely for multiple medications.
