South Coast Air Quality issues “no burn” alert for parts of Riverside County
Much of Riverside County will remain under a “no burn” order Saturday and Sunday, meaning indoor fireplace use and outdoor wood burning will be prohibited due to pollution concerns.
The South Coast Air Quality Management District issued the order for all residences in the South Coast Air Basin, including the greater Los Angeles area, Orange County and the Inland Empire. It was extended until midnight Sunday, which will be the fifth straight day of the no burn order.
