More testimony against local man in molestation and child porn ring trial
Testimony is scheduled to continue Wednesday in the molestation and child porn ring trial of a former special education instructor and foster parent.
Tuesday, 19-year old Anthony Ruiz testified that John David Yoder told boys who lived in his home to lie to child protective services workers.
Ruiz said Yoder wanted to conceal that a young boy under Yoder’s guardianship was regularly sleeping in Yoder’s room.
Ruiz also testified that he witnessed yoder molest the adolescent boy twice in front of him.
Ruiz was a former next door neighbor of Yoder in Desert Hot Springs and moved in with Yoder when he was 12 to escape family problems.
Yoder is charged with a dozen felony counts.
