Narcotics task force searches La Quinta home

The Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force is searching a La Quinta home Thursday morning. A sign in front of the home, located on Avenida Alvarado, reads ‘Narcotics Operation Underway’.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 arrived to the scene and a police sergeant told us officers have recovered a small amount of narcotics but the sergeant didn’t elaborate beyond that.

Investigators remain on scene and we expect to get more details from authorities soon.
