Sen. Jeff Stone taking on Rep. Raul Ruiz for Congressional seat
State Sen. Jeff Stone sat down with CBS Local 2’s Brooke Beare at 5:30 p.m. to talk about his run for Congress.
He also spoke about the issues in Sacramento, and what he’d do differently if he’s sent to Washington, D.C.
The former county supervisor was elected to the 28th district in Nov. 2014. He will challenge U.S. Rep. Dr. Raul Ruiz (D), who was voted into the 36th Congressional district in 2012. The Republican from Temecula announced in January he would run for federal office.
