Road closure in place in Cathedral City after crash

Cathedral City police and fire crews blocked off Perez Road from Cathedral City Canyon to Date Palm Drive while they investigated a motorcycle crash on Thursday, February 18.

The crash happened at about 9:20 a.m. at Cathedral Canyon Drive and Perez Road.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with major injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
