Fire crews put out blaze at home in Desert Hot Springs

Fire crews have contained a blaze at a home on Pierson Blvd. in Desert Hot Springs. They got the call just before 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Cal Fire says that the home was in flames when they arrived. The fire was contained just after 5:25 p.m. It appears the home is abandoned.

Fire investigators are still trying to determine a cause. Cal fire is also still trying to determine the cause of Tuesday’s fire just a few blocks away on Palm Drive. That home was also abandoned.
