5 people arrested near Demuth Park in Palm Springs
The Palm Springs Police Department arrested five people during a probation compliance check near Demuth Park on Monday morning, and it’s the second time officers have responded to the home in the past three weeks.
The compliance check began at about 11:20 a.m. at the home located in the 4300 block of East Mesquite Avenue, just west of Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs.

Melissa Campos- 26 years old, Palm Springs
1203.2(a) P.C., Probation Violation- Felony
Jaime Reynaga- 31 years old, Palm Springs
11377(a) H & S, Possession of Controlled Substance-Felony
11364 H & S, Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia- Misdemeanor
3056 P.C., Parole Violation- Felony
Louis Fidel Garcia, 30 years old, Desert Hot Springs
1203.2(a) P.C., Probation Violation-Felony
Joseph Ramey, 24 years old, Landers
2- Misdemeanor Bench Warrants
1- Felony Bench Warrant
Brooke Hovland, 27 years old, Desert Hot Springs

Officers didn’t have a booking photo of Brooke Hovland at the time of Monday’s news release.

The last time officers were at the home was February 10 after someone reported suspicious activity. A chase ensued and that suspect got away, but five others were later arrested at the home.
There’s no word yet if those arrested on Monday were the same ones taken into custody on February 10.
