Tuesday is election day in Rancho Mirage
Tuesday is election day in Rancho Mirage and officials are encouraging residents to mail-in their ballots.
The election is being done completely by mail so there will be no local polling places.
Rancho Mirage voters can go to the Registrar of Voters office in Riverside between 7:00 a.m. And 8:00 p.m. If they would like to vote in person.
Otherwise, ballots must be deposited in the vote-by-mail drop-off box at the Rancho Mirage City Clerk’s office or post marked by tomorrow and received no later than three days later.
Any voters who didn’t receive a ballot will be able to get a provisional ballot Tuesday at the city clerk’s office.
Voters will be electing two city council members out of tree candidates.
Michael Harrington is challenging the incumbents Richard Kite and Ted Weill.
Voters will also be deciding four ballot measures related to the CV Link project.
