Palm tree fire in Thousand Palms

Firefighters are on scene of a palm tree fire at a palm tree farm in Thousand Palms. According to reporter Joe Galli, several palm trees are on fire, at the farm, located near 30th Avenue and Desert Moon Drive.

The fire began just before 5:30 p.m. So far it appears that no structures are threatened by the blaze, we received several phone calls from viewers reporting seeing smoke coming from the area.
