Hiker rescued in La Quinta

Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies and California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers helped rescue a hiker in La Quinta Sunday afternoon.

First responders said they rescued the hiker around 1:30 p.m. near La Quinta Cove.

Sheriff’s deputies said the hiker did not suffer any injuries, or show any signs of dehydration.
