Francoise Rhodes talks about Borrego Days Desert Festival

Francoise Rhodes tells us why you need to go to Borrego Days Desert Festival. The festival has a long history of being the launch event for the new season in Southern California’s desert regions.

The event brings locals together after a long hot summer and welcomes snowbirds back to the desert.

This year’s theme, “Resort to Nature” brings awareness and pays homage to the 600,000 acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

The free festival kicks off Oct. 21 and runs through the weekend. Events are taking place at the Christmas Circle Community Park.

There will be a parade, live entertainment, car show, art exhibits, kids zone, vendors, food trucks and beverage garden.
