One killed six injured in Desert Center Crash

Police were investigating a single vehicle crash in Desert Center that left one person dead, 3 with serious injuries and 3 more with moderate injuries.

Three medical helicopters were flown in to State Highway 177 at mile post 7 Sunday evening after the crash at 7:55 p.m.

Three ambulances were also called to the scene to transport those with moderate injuries.

Riverside County Firefighters said in a release that a vehicle rolled over.

One person died at the scene.

Another person had to be cut from the wreckage to be freed.

One person was not injured in the rollover.
