3 arrested for Christmas Day homicide in Palm Desert

Three suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a deadly shooting that occurred in Palm Desert on Christmas day.

Skyler Siva, 24, was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a home on the 43400 block of Illinois Avenue at 4 p.m. that day. Officers arrived after gunfire was reported in the area.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, 20-year-old La Quinta resident Roger Rodriguez, 20-year-old Anthony Garcia and 23-year-old Alejandro Zendejas, both from Indio, are all in custody.

Investigators arrested two of the suspects shortly after the murder and the third was taken into custody on Tuesday, January 24. Officers haven’t released any other details about the murder investigation at this time.
