Fire Crews extinguish house fire in Palm Desert

A house fire in Palm Desert has been extinguished after it broke out just after 4 a.m. Sunday.

Cal Fire crews say the fire happened in the 100 block of Conejo Circle. The first arriving engine company reported smoke visible from a single family home. Crews contained the fire in about 45 minutes.

The American Red Cross is now helping two adults find a place to live. No injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
