One injured in garage fire
One person suffered minor injuries Sunday when a garage went up in flames in La Quinta.
The fire was reported at 8:17 a.m. in the 61200 block of Cactus Spring Drive, said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside Fire Department.
A garage, along with a car inside of it, were burned, she said.
One person who suffered minor injuries was evaluated by paramedics, but declined a trip to a hospital, according to Hagemann.
