Cathedral City named one of best budget friendly cities for a summer trip in the West Coast

TripAdvisor recently compiled a list of the best West Coast cities to visit for a summer trip while watching your budget.

Cathedral City was ranked number five on that list, behind Albuquerque, Portland, Phoenix, and Tuscon. Cathedral City was one of six California cities listed in the article.

The article highlighted Cathedral City’s mountain landscapes and community parks, as well as golf courses and hiking trails.

The list was based on West Coast destinations where you could find rentals for under $1,500. It also factored in other amenities like the quality of rentals and activities available in the city.

A TripAdvisor representative says the site analyzed the weekly cost of a two-bedroom rental during July 2017 and found Cathedral City costs travelers an average of $1077/week.
