Horse hit by car in Desert Hot Springs

A horse has been hit by a car in Desert Hot Springs, officials said Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Dillon and Sheridan roads.

It’s not known if the driver of the car was injured. The condition of the horse is also unknown at this time.
