Abducted New Mexico children found safe

Three siblings abducted in New Mexico were found safe Sunday night.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico said the children were found safe Sunday night, and their mother turned herself into authorities in Los Angeles County.

California Highway Patrol officers issued an amber alert Sunday afternoon.

Police said 9-year-old Lloyd Wyatt and his two siblings were taken early Sunday morning by Laria Walker-Anderson.

Officers said Walker-Anderson’s cell phone was last pinged near Los Angeles, and was believed to be heading to the Compton area or Orange County.

She was considred to be armed and dangerous.
