Palm Springs pedestrian dies after collision
A 51-year-old woman who was struck by a car in Palm Springs last week died over the weekend in a hospital, county coroners said Monday.
Priscilla Limon of Cathedral City was hit by a car at 8:43 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Avenida Palmera and South Palm Canyon Drive.
Police said Limon, who was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, was struck by a driver who remained at the crash scene and was cooperative with investigators.
Limon died at the hospital at 10:23 a.m. Sunday, the county coroner’s office reported.
Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the crash, police said.
