Summer Golf Tips: Executing tough shots in the trees

Chris Gilley, head golf professional at La Quinta Country Club, demonstrates how to execute tough shots when you’re in the trees. Gilley explains that in order to hit this shot, golfers need to slow down their swing to lower the spin of the ball, which is what makes the ball go up.

This is the 3rd annual Summer Golf Tips series with Sports Director Blake Arthur. The series features a variety of courses with instruction from some of the best golf professionals in the world.
