Tour De Palm Springs reels in support, donations for local charities

Bikers and walkers flocked to downtown Palm Springs to participate in the 21st annual Tour De Palm Springs all to raise money for some of the valley’s most worthwhile causes.

The event featured multiple rides ranging from 102 miles to nine mile rides as well as a short fun-run and walk.

Coachella Valley Serving People in Need (CVSPIN)’s mission is to distribute funds to nonprofits across the Coachella Valley and keep the money cycling into programs that directly benefit the communities across the desert.

Over the years, the event has attracted support from numerous donors, community groups and businesses who participate in the yearly fundraiser.

The nonprofits are set to receive funds over the course of the upcoming weeks and months.
