Indio Circle K robbed, suspect arrested soon after
A 20-year-old man is accused of using a gun to rob a gas station convenience store in Indio on Valentine’s Day.
Indio Police Department authorities reported the store clerk was working the cash register when the suspect, described as a male Hispanic adult, went into the business during the early morning hours. The suspect approached the store clerk around 3 a.m., according to authorities, before flashing a handgun and demanding money from the cash register. The store clerk handed the money to the suspect, at which point the man ran out of the Circle K, through the parking lot toward Monroe Street. No one was injured during the incident, officials said.
