Elderly man crashes into Palm Desert business
An elderly man crashed into a Palm Desert business this morning.
The driver says that he mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, driving his car through a glass window and into a conference room of the business.
No one was in the conference room at the time of the collision, but the building was occupied. No one was injured in the crash.
Workers in the building were evacuated as a precaution.
The accident happened just after 9:45 a.m. this morning.
