Monsoonal moisture is coming

Saturday will likely be the last dry day we’ll enjoy for the week. As high pressure continues to build over the Four Corners region, we’ll begin to notice an increase in monsoonal moisture in the atmosphere.

Muggy conditions begin Sunday. By the middle of the work week, we’ll be tracking possible thunderstorm development around the Coachella Valley. Tuesday and Wednesday both look to be our best chances for storms. Expect increasing cloud cover in response to the additional moisture.

Slightly drier conditions are expected by the end of the work week. Temperatures should steadily rise a few degrees above normal by Friday.
