Congressman Ruiz briefed on how Riverside County responds to Coronavirus

Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz spoke with the Riverside County's Departments of Emergency Management and Public Health getting critical information on emergency protocols and preparedness and how they're planning to communicate these procedures with the county's residents.

“The county has pandemic preparedness plans that they have developed, they are working on a communication structure that will inform the public and the different businesses with large gatherings, the different schools and the working on the fine tuning the communication structure," said Ruiz.

Ruiz said he's expecting any day now that the county will have a communication structure worked out. He reiterated on Saturday there is no reason to panic and the risk locally remains low.
