One person shot in Cathedral City, police searching for suspect

UPDATE: Cathedral City Police Department is now seeking the public's help with identifying the suspect in this morning's shooting.

The victim, who has been identified as a male is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries after authorities revealed he was assaulted, taken from his home and then shot.

Officers responded to Eisenhower Medical Center at 8:15 a.m. where the victim had been taken.

Cathedral City Police Department, along with help from the Sheriff's Department, are still searching for the suspect. According to police, the initial assault happened at a home in the 37000 block of Palo Verde Drive.
