Overnight shooting in Coachella, no injuries and suspect arrested
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to a shooting at Rancho Las Flores Park on Van Buren Street in Coachella Wednesday just before 9 p.m.
Deputies said that they got reports of a man firing multiple rounds into the air and ground during a fight at the soccer fields.
The suspect drove away before the officers arrived.
Deputies later found the suspect near Fred Waring Drive and Deep Canyon Road. They arrested him without incident.
