Palm Springs releases statement on selling of political merchandise

The City of Palm Springs said a vendor selling political merchandise was doing so legally.

The city posted a statement on social media Thursday:

The announcement came days before Donald Trump's scheduled rally in Coachella.

The city said it had received a number of complaints about the vendor from residents.
