Gusty winds tonight with warmer temperatures on the way

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Coachella Valley through 8 a.m. Monday morning. Sustained westerly winds from 20-30 mph are expected, with gusts on the valley floor reaching up to 45 mph. Stronger gusts can be expected through and below the San Gorgonio Pass.

Today was cooler than normal in Palm Springs, reaching a high of 76°. Seasonal average is 84°.

Low pressure is moving east and high pressure is building behind it, bring our temperatures up to seasonal average by mid-week.

A light breeze of 15-20 mph will stick around Monday afternoon and evening.
