Warm temperatures remain this weekend
Temperatures are set to stay in the low triple digits this weekend. This above-normal warming trend is due to a building ridge of high pressure over the West Coast.
While the Coachella Valley is not under a Heat Advisory like areas west of the desert, it will still be important to follow heat safety precautions this weekend.
Changes are ahead as a low pressure system strengthens onshore winds by the start of the work week. Windy conditions are expected by Tuesday with gusts that could exceed 30 MPH.
A cooling trend is on the way by the middle of the upcoming week, though it will take some wind to get us there.
