Temperatures remain seasonable as evening winds return
A trough of low pressure is moving into the Pacific Northwest. It will continue moving to the east and then to the south over the next few days. This will increase our evening winds and usher in cooler temperatures this weekend.
Moving through the evening hours, we will notice our gusts increase. Especially in the wind-prone areas like the I-10 corridor, Desert Hot Springs, and the pass.
Temperatures will remain seasonable through Saturday. Overnight lows will begin to drop into the 50s heading into the weekend. Sunday will see a drop in temperatures but also a significant increase in our winds. Daily highs will warm slightly heading into next week.
