Remaining a bit breezy to start the week

The jet stream is currently quite zonal, meaning it is mainly blowing east/west. This will gradually transition to weak high pressure for Tuesday allowing for some slight warming. An area of low pressure will move into California by Wednesday. Winds will overall continue to weaken, but not completely and not for long.

The aforementioned area of low pressure will help increase onshore flow from the Pacific Ocean onto California. This will lead to another increase in our winds for Wednesday but they will not be as strong as this past weekend.

While our temperatures will bounce around a bit, they will remain in the 70s for the foreseeable future. Mid-70s are expected for Tuesday before decreasing slightly for Wednesday and Thursday and increasing again with the passing of the low-pressure system. Highs near 80 are possible for the weekend.
