Walgreens truck catches on fire, shuts down EB I-10 for several hours
A Walgreens trailer caught on fire Monday night on Interstate 10 near the Dillon Road on-ramp in Coachella, leading to a full closure of eastbound lanes.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fire spread to the brush in the center divider as well.
The fire was fully contained at around 9:39 p.m. however, the closure continued through the night, going into the morning.
No word on what was inside the truck. No injuries were reported.
