An east valley man is recovering after a freight train hit him, last night. It happened at 8:45pm along Airport Boulevard and Highway 111. Wildfires Erupt As Storms Move Out

Cal Fire reports several vegetation fires popping up as thunderstorms rolled through the area above Palm Desert, Thursday afternoon. One fire is burning at Burnt Valley Road and highway 371 in Anza.
