Rising temperatures continue through midweek

This afternoon has already surpassed yesterday’s high temperature by several degrees. Palm Springs and Thermal have recorded 106° as each of their highs. An Excessive Heat Warning went into effect at 10:00 a.m. this morning and will remain through the week. This string of dangerous temperatures can increase the risk of heat-related illness.
