Mid-October heat wave continues through Friday

A Heat Advisory is currently in place for our friends to the west in the Inland Empire. As of now, no alerts, watches or warnings are in effect for the Coachella Valley.

As high pressure continues to take hold over the western United States, we will continue to feel temperatures well above average. Daily highs are at least 10° above normal for this time of year.

Friday will start to see some stronger gusts in the wind-prone areas like Whitewater and the I-10 corridor. This trend will continue into the weekend. This will usher in much cooler temperatures for next week.

Thursday will likely be the hottest day of the week with Friday not far behind. Windy conditions are in store for the weekend as they bring in below-average temperatures for next week.
