Detectives investigating Corwin case extensively
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is seeking answers in the disappearance of Erin Corwin.
A news release from the department stresses that they have “a responsibility to Erin’s family, her loved ones and her unborn child to provide answers regarding her disappearance.”
The release also points out that the arrest of Christopher Lee was not related to the disappearance of Erin, but did occur during the service of a search warrant in the Corwin case.
Investigators say “it is crucial all acquaintances be contacted and interviewed, in an effort to solve the case.”
According to detectives there “still is not enough evidence to rule out that Erin Corwin would be voluntarily missing.” The release also points out that they have not yet found a crime scene.
The sheriff’s department says that details revealed from a search warrant could impact the case and should not have been released.
