Policía de Indio reforzará patrullaje en la ciudad por incremento de homicidios

INDIO, Calif. (KUNA) – Los recientes homicidios que han ocurrido en la ciudad de Indio sin aparente relación pero situados en la misma zona han sacudido a la comunidad. Pese a que el más reciente presenciado el día de ayer continua bajo investigación, sin haber revelado más datos al respecto, le cuestionamos al sargento Abraham Plata, cuáles serían las acciones a realizar para reforzar la seguridad en la ciudad, a la que nos comentó: “No es algo normal cuando tienes dos incidentes así entre un mes”, expresó Plata. Así mismo, uno de los principales mensajes que el departamento de policía quiere emitir a la comunidad, es eliminar el estigma de relacionar los homicidios y el uso de armas de fuego con la comunidad hispana. “Sabemos que en la ciudad de indio la mayoría de la comunidad son hispanos, pero no es más los hispanos donde han sido homicidios. porque en los primeros meses del año tuvimos un homicidio donde el hijo mató a sus papás y no eran hispanos”, expuso Sargento Abraham Plata.
