Families gather at local temple to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah

Chanukah or also spelled Hanukkah is an eight-day, wintertime โ€œfestival of lights,โ€ celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and traditional foods. The community is invited to Temple Isiah for the first night of Chanukah. The candle lighting starts at 5 p.m. Bring your own menorah and come celebrate with them. There’s a $12 fee per person.
