Fire in hills just north of Indio 75% contained, no threat to communities
Update: Monday 12:21 p.m. The fire had burned 30-40 acres as of Monday afternoon. According to Cal Fire, firefighters planned to remain on scene to monitor the fire area which was 75% contained.
