Car Hits Hydrant Sending Up Plume Of Water

PALM SPRINGS – A driver hit a fire hydrant during the morning rush, today, sending a geyser spurting at a major intersection.

The car hit the hydrant at the corner of Gene Autry and Ramon in Palm Springs, this morning.

There were no reports of damage or injuries, and crews worked quickly to contain and cap off the water supply.
