Man Accused Of DUI And High-Speed Chase Goes To Trial
Defense testimony begins today in Indio in an alleged DUI murder trial.
Cathedral City police say 37-year old Jason Pappas led them on a high-speed chase in June.
It ended when his car smashed into a palm tree in Rancho Mirage.
A passenger, 56-year-old Gregory Fisher died in the crash.
Pappas is facing charges of murder, evading arrest, and driving under the influence
He pleaded guilty to another DUI charge back in 2007.
