Two High Desert Massage Parlors Face Prostitution Allegations

Undercover officers conducted two massage parlor investigations in the high desert only to find an alleged prostitution business being run inside.

A spokesperson with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said the investigation began on Dec. 8. During their investigation, officers confirmed that customers had been receiving sexual acts in exchange for money and officers were soliticted by employees at both locations.

Malson Mitchell & Hui Jie Qi were arrested at the scene and booked at the Morongo Jail until their court date.

Code enforcement also reports finding paraphernalia was located at one of the locations.

These investigations were performed in response to numerous complaints from citizens that these businesses were engaged in illegal activity. It was due to the community response in reporting the suspected activities to their local law enforcement and city personnel which led to the success of the operation.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dept., the Town of Yucca Valley, and the City of Twentynine Palms would like to encourage all their citizens to continue reporting all suspected illegal activities for investigation.
